The 1st Westminster Scouts requires leaders for the Scout Group, youth aged 11-14. 

Individuals must be 18 years or older.  Volunteers must enjoy working with youth and enjoy the outdoors in terms of camping & other activities.  Volunteers must be able to meet with the youth on a regular basis to plan and do activities.  The season runs from October to April of each year but individuals are welcome to stay on and continue leading once they have been involved.  A screening and training session is required.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Humboldt require many volunteers to be Big Brothers/Sisters, Teen Mentors as well as Board Members.  They are looking for caring, compassionate, responsible adults and teens.

To be a Big Brother or Big Sister, we are looking for individuals 18 or older.  For Teen Mentoring, we are looking for teens between the ages of 15-18.  As board members, we are looking for professionals such as business owners, teachers, accountants.  A screening and training process is available for all volunteers including but not limited to a Criminal Record Check.

Humboldt has hosted three Relay for Life events since 2002. The event is normally held in June on a Friday night and starts at 6:00 pm and goes all night until 6:00 am. Set up occurs Friday during the day.

The Canadian Cancer Society is looking to form a local Humboldt & District Planning Committee for the 2013 Relay for Life. The Planning Committee will meet monthly, January to May, and then weekly until the event.

Forever...in motion's mission is to improve and/or maintain the health of older adults living in the community through education and physical activity opportunities. 

Volunteers are needed to lead the Forever...in motion older adult physical activity programs in Humboldt and the surrounding area. Forever...in motion volunteers participate in 25 hours of leadership training which includes: information on how to lead safe exercise programs for older adults, chronic conditions, preventing falls with a practical hands-on approach. All Forever...in motion volunteers are registered with the Saskatoon Health Region Volunteers services and are required to have a police record check as part of this process. The police record check is free of charge.

Time Commitment: 2-4 hours/week for 6 months, 25 hours of Forever...in motion Leadership Training

Habitat for Humanity Humboldt requires volunteers that are hard working.  Depending on the volunteer position, there are various skills required, such as: leadership, communication, organizational skills, flexibility, ability to work with people, construction & leadership skills & abilities.

The Humboldt & District Museum & Gallery is seeking volunteers for a variety of duties. 

Volunteers are needed for such tasks such as Tour Guides, Hostess and Reception duties, Art & Educational programming, Special Events, Demonstrations, Research, Promotions, Baking, Fund-Raising activities, Carpentry work, Role-Playing/Acting, and Archaeology.  Volunteers are also welcome to serve on the Museum Board of Directors, Foundation Committee, or with the Friends of the Museum. 

Volunteers will be assigned tasks based on their skills, abilities, qualities, and interests.  Please note volunteers who will be working with children or other vulnerable persons will be required to undergo a background check.

The Humboldt Soup Kitchen is looking for volunteers to assist with the Soup Kitchen on Thursday evenings.  Tasks include set up, preparation, serving, clean up, etc.
