Humboldt Challenges Kindersley in Tidiness Contest
Posted June 6, 2014

Humboldt and Kindersley are facing off in the same category in this year's national Communities in Bloom program and, to encourage a little friendly competition, both communities have agreed to a challenge to see whose residents can log the most volunteer hours towards "tidying up" and beautifying their respective communities before the judges arrive.  Working in partnership with Golden West broadcasting, residents are to track the hours spent tidying and to log them online at discoverhumboldt.com between June 10-20.  The losing community's mayor must wear the opposing SJHL's hockey team jersey when the teams face off for the first time this season.  The results of each community's program placement will be announced by Communities in Bloom early this fall - stay tuned!
