    Education

    There are four schools serving Humboldt and District. Two Catholic schools (St. Augustine and St. Dominic) and two public schools (Humboldt Public School and the Humboldt Collegiate Institute). The Humboldt Public School, St. Augustine and St. Dominic Schools have student enrollment from Kindergarten to Grade 8 while the Humboldt Collegiate Institute serves students in the grade 9 - 12 range.

    Student enrollment at all four schools as of September 2004 was 1,050 with the number of teachers and support staff at 105.

    Carlton Trail Regional College offers programs in the following areas: adult literacy, career services, skill training, distance education, institute programs, university programs, adult basic education, personal development and computer training.
