CALL TO ORDER:

Mayor Korte called the meeting to order at 7:31 p.m.

That the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held October 12, 2020 be approved as recorded and circulated.

COMMUNITY EVENTS PERMIT � HUMBOLDT CURLING CLUB

That we approve the application from the Humboldt Curling Club for a community event permit for the Masters of Curling event to be held during the following dates and times:

 

December 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th, 2004 � 10 am to 10 pm in the Uniplex Arena.

December 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th, 2004 � 1pm to 1 am in the Uniplex Community Centre being Jubilee Hall, meeting rooms 1, 2 & 3 and the adjoining hallway.

That the minutes of the Leisure Services Committee Meeting held October 19, 2020 be accepted for information.

That the proposed Special Event Hosting Grant Policy be amended by deleting the following:

 

�If at the end of any given year all of the funds are not distributed, the remaining funds will be transferred to the following year and added to the annual allocation of $5000.00. �

 

Further that the amended policy be adopted as attached hereto and forming a part of these minutes.

That the City Manager�s Report dated October 25, 2020 be accepted for information.

PECUNIARY INTEREST:

 

Councillor Leon Doepker declared a pecuniary interest in the following matter and left the Council Chambers at 7:58 pm.

That cheque number 23472 payable to True Value Hardware in the amount of $238.08 be approved for payment.
