MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL HELD

TUESDAY, APRIL 8, 2021

CALL TO ORDER:

Mayor Dennis Korte called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

 

 

ADOPT AGENDA:

Weyland/Cash

That the agenda as presented be adopted.

 

                                    Motion Carried.

 

 

APPROVE MINUTES:

Cash/Tuchscherer

That the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held March 25, 2021 be approved as recorded and circulated.

 

                                    Motion Carried.

 

 

HUMBOLDT GERMAN HERITAGE SOCIETY – COMMUNITY EVENTS PERMIT:

Tuchscherer/Malinoski

That we approve the application from the Humboldt and District German Heritage Society for a community events permit for Polkafest to be held on July 26 & 27, 2003 for the following dates and times:

 

Saturday, July 26, 2020

- 1:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. in the Elgar Petersen Arena

 

Sunday, July 27, 2020

- 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Elgar Petersen Arena

CITY COMMISSIONER’S REPORT:

That the City Commissioner’s Report to APRIL 8, 2021 be accepted for information.

PECUNIARY INTEREST:

 

 

 

 

 

Councillor Leon Doepker declared a pecuniary interest in the following matter and left the Council Chambers at 7:36 p.m.

 

 

PAY ACCOUNT:

That cheque number 16813 payable to True Value in the amount of $8.24 be approved for payment.

 

                                    Motion Carried.

 

 

RETURN:

Councillor Leon Doepker returned to the Council Chambers at

7:37 p.m.

 

 

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE:

That the accounts payable for the period ending APRIL 8, 2021 as represented by general cheque numbers 16752 to 16906 inclusive, and as filed in the Accounts Payable Register be approved for payment.

REVENUE & EXPENDITURE STATEMENT:

Malinoski/Cash

That the revenue and expenditure statement for the month of

March 2003 be approved as presented.

Mayor Dennis Korte vacated the Chair and Deputy Mayor assumed the Chair at 7:45 p.m.

 

 

BYLAW NO. 12/2003:

Doepker/Cash

Resolved that Bylaw No. 12/2003 being a bylaw to dispense with the mailing of assessment notices be introduced and read a first time.

 

                                    Motion Carried.

 

 

BYLAW NO. 12/2003:

Malinoski/Korte

 

Resolved that Bylaw No. 12/2003 being a bylaw to dispense with the mailing of assessment notices be read a second time.

 

 

 

                                    Motion Carried.

 

 

BYLAW NO. 12/2003:

Tuchscherer/Korte

Resolved that Bylaw No. 12/2003 being a bylaw to dispense with the mailing of assessment notices be given three readings at this meeting.

 

                                    Motion Carried Unanimously.

 

 

BYLAW NO. 12/2003:

Cash/Malinoski

Resolved that Bylaw No. 12/2003 being a bylaw to dispense with the mailing of assessment notices be read a third time and be now adopted.

 

                                    Motion Carried.
