Building Inspection & Business Licensing
Business Licensing
The Building Inspection & Licensing Department is responsible for the licensing of all non-resident businesses entering the City, all home based businesses in the City and licensing of direct sellers. Building Inspection
The Building Inspection & Licensing Department is also responsible for performing building inspections and issuing development permits. Building officials ensure compliance with the National Building Code provisions and local bylaws. Business and home owners in contravention of local bylaws and standards will be served orders to ensure the community maintains a safe and healthy environment.

BizPaL On-line Service
BizPaL is an online service that simplifies the business permit and licence process for entrepreneurs, businesses, governments, and third-party business service providers.
