“That the Town subject to the approval of Local Government Board grant $300.00 for the development of a Golf Course provided a Club is formed and that the Club raise double the amount and take over the operation of the course.”

That the Minutes of the of the Works & Utilities Committee Meeting held April 5, 2005 be accepted for information.

That we adopt the following Water Rates for the South Middle Users Group:

 

Water Base Rate - $29.00 per month.

Water (Consumption) Rate - $6.50 per 100 cubic foot.

 

Further, that the cost of the water main from the City to the Airport be shared equally between the City of Humboldt and the SHWUCL and the Middle Users.

That the City Manager’s report dated April 8, 2021 regarding the water rate structure and mill rate implications be accepted for information.

Mayor Dennis Korte and Councillor Leon Doepker declared a pecuniary interest in the following matter and left the Council Chambers at 7:56 p.m.

 

Deputy Mayor Jack Tuchscherer assumed the chair, the time being 7:56 p.m.

That cheque number 25406 payable to Graphic Arts Printing in the amount of $ 43.32 and cheque number 25407 payable to True Value in the amount of $244.91 be approved for payment.

Mayor Dennis Korte and Councillor Leon Doepker returned to Council Chambers at 7:57 pm.

 

Mayor Dennis Korte resumed the chair, the time being 7:57 p.m.

That the Accounts Payable for the period ending April 11, 2021 as represented by general cheque numbers 25346 to 25493        inclusive and as filed in the Accounts Payable Register be approved for payment.

That the Capital Budget for the year 2005 be adopted as attached hereto and forming a part of these minutes. 

 

Further, that the Municipal Operating Budget for the year 2005 be amended to reflect a ˝ mill rate reduction and be adopted as attached hereto and forming a part of these minutes.

That we make application to the 2005-2006 Canada Infrastructure Municipal Rural Infrastructure Fund for funding to assist in the cost of replacement for deteriorated water mains.

That we sit in private session as a Committee of the Whole, the time being 8:24 p.m.
